Jim Swarthout, a 30-year addiction treatment professional with expertise in “Invitational Intervention”, the measured outcome process for treating addiction and mental health concerns with compassion. As a certified “Invitational Interventionist”, Fr. Jim focuses on inviting resilience instead of guilt and shame. He is a collaborator on the ARISE program and expanded this approach using a “conspiracy of compassion” initiated by “premeditated mercy” an approach that he is teaching to leaders to improve recovery results nationwide.Fr.
